This can help outline the shapes on top of the three layer quilt. You can stitch it by random or by using a highly patterned contrast patchwork.

AP&Q AQC Challenge
This is a quilt and patchwork competition which became very successful. Because of its success, it will be back next year. The theme that was used for the 2010 patchwork and quilt challenge was “Remember.” Different prices was awarded for the people who best interpreted the theme using patchwork or quilting. Craftsmanship in this competition was excellent.

The bush fire in Victoria was a tragedy that moved the people of Australia. The quilting guild of the state of Victoria organized a distribution project to ask stitchers from different parts of Australia to help the stitchers in Victoria who became victims of the bush fire. People all over Australia can donate patchwork equipments to the stitchers in Victoria because the bush fire destroyed the equipments of the stitchers in Victoria. This way people from all over Australia can help the bush fire victims in Victoria.
